There is no better way to explore and discover Seattle’s International District than during their Summer Food Walk. During this event, you are provided a map listing all restaurants participating (up to 50) and what sample-size serving they will be offering. Samples cost from four to six dollars.
Included in your day is the highly rated Wing Luke Museum. Along with their permanent exhibits, you also have the opportunity to step into history as their Educational Guides walk you through the East Kong Yick Building — now the museum. Originally beginning construction in 1910, this building is a cornerstone of Chinatown’s legacy.
During your Chinatown visit, don’t miss Tsue Chong Company featuring oodles of noodles and unfortunate fortune cookies, and the flagship Uwajimaya store.
