Enter the mountain meadows and alpine peaks of Mt. Rainier as we drive the westside entrance to Paradise. We will make stops at Narada Falls, which drop 188 feet in two tiers of 168 feet and 20 feet, and Ricksecker Point, offering a panoramic vista encompassing the majestic grandeur of Mount Rainier itself, along with sweeping views of the surrounding forests and valleys.

In most years, many flowers will be blooming by mid-July, and by the first of August the meadows should be very impressive. Lupines should be at or near their peak, and alpine phlox — which you should see (and smell; it's one of the loveliest perfumes in nature).

Since we expect large crowds for the peak bloom season, you will pre-order picnic lunches before departure to enjoy while at Paradise, eliminating the need to wait in long lines for food services.
