Crystal Mountain is nestled on the northeast corner of Mount Rainier National Park. Journey 2,500 feet over alpine terrain to the summit. If you feel your breath taken away, it's not the altitude — it's the scenery! From majestic Mt. Rainier to the panoramic splendor that includes the peaks of Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Baker, and Mt. Hood, the view from the summit of Crystal Mountain is unlike any other.

For lunch on your own, we suggest ordering from the express window on the terraced patio surrounded by colorful flowers, to dine in the alpine air surrounded by all this nature! At the base, there are food trucks and a quaint historic dining room by the river.

Following our visit, take one of Washington's most scenic drives around Mt. Rainier to Tipsoo Lake on Chinook Pass. Here the wildflowers will be in full bloom and you can take an easy stroll along the paths.
