Includes: Transportation, Bloedel Garden Stroll, Free time in Norwegian Village of Poulsbo, visit to "PIA" Bainbridge Island’s Troll and a visit to the Hobbit House and Nursery
Stroll down Front Street in Poulsbo's historic Little Norway district to explore galleries, museums, and shops and grab lunch on your own at one of several waterfront restaurants overlooking the marina. Don't miss a stop at the famous bakery in town. Meet and take selfies at Pia the Peacekeeper, the latest art installation by a Copenhagen-based artist. She is an 18-foot-tall troll made from recycled wood, one of several recently on display throughout the NW.
Wander through acres of forest and manicured gardens at Bloedel Reserve. Every cool shade of green welcomes you along forest pathways, English-style manicured gardens, and more. This former estate of a prominent Northwest timber family is a place to connect with nature. Set on a bank along Bainbridge Island, the Reserve encompasses 150 acres of natural and designed Pacific Northwest landscapes.
Finish off the day at the Brothers Greenhouses — an independent nursery with a wide range of plants and flowers, plus a hobbit house.
